GoToMeeting’s new Slack integration helps you reduce the friction and improve collaboration with the ability to jump from Slack straight into a GoToMeeting. Whether you’re at your desk or on your mobile phone, now you can move seamlessly from working with your team member in Slack to an online meeting where you can share your screen and talk face-to-face.
How does it work?
Once you’ve enabled the integration, type “/g2m” or “/gotomeeting” into your Slack message to instantly start a GoToMeeting session.
From there, the person you are chatting with, or anyone in that Slack channel, can call or click to join via the GoToMeeting App or Chrome browser.
How do I get started?
First, let your Slack admin know they need to enable the integration. Then visit the Slack App Directory to get started. Remember you need a GoToMeeting account. Enjoy!
