For some, September might signal back-to-school season, or the return of autumnal weather. But at GoTo, we’re most excited about another holiday: IT Professionals Day! (What else would you expect from a company passionate about making IT easy?)
For nearly 10 years, businesses have recognized the third Tuesday in September as IT Professionals Day, as a way to honor IT teams around the world. Today and every day, talented IT professionals are powering business – keeping systems connected, hardware operational, software updated, employees supported, and customer data secured. IT teams are essential to the success of every other part of an organization, be it large or small.
Just how essential, you ask? We imagined a world without IT pros, where IT amateurs (aka, kids) were put in charge of solving today’s IT problems. As you might imagine, the results were…inventive. Take a look!
And that’s why we leave IT to the pros.
All kid-ding aside (see what we did there), we could not be more appreciative of the hard work, steadfast dedication, and continual learning that IT professionals deliver. Every day brings new and evolving technical challenges and every day, IT pros rise to the occasion.
